Privacy & POPIA Notice
H3iSquared Trading CC (“H3iSquared”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of customers, prospective customers, suppliers, training delegates and website visitors.
This notice explains how we collect and use personal information through the H3iSquared website and related enquiry channels in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”).
1. Information we collect
When you contact H3iSquared through our website, we may collect information such as:

- The contents of your enquiry or message

Our website may also process limited technical information required for security, spam prevention and normal website operation.
The H3iSquared enquiry form does not permanently store your raw IP address as part of the enquiry record. Limited technical information may be processed temporarily for anti-spam and security purposes.

We primarily use personal information to:

Providing information through an enquiry form is voluntary. However, if you do not provide sufficient contact or enquiry information, we may not be able to respond effectively.
3. Marketing communications
Submitting an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications.
Where we offer an optional marketing subscription, you may separately choose to receive occasional:

- Industry news
- H3iSquared updates
The marketing option is voluntary and is not selected by default.
You may withdraw your marketing consent at any time by using an unsubscribe option provided in the communication or by contacting H3iSquared.
4. How website enquiries are handled
Website enquiries are sent to the appropriate H3iSquared business email account so that a member of the team can respond.
We do not use the website enquiry form to create public user accounts.
Personal information may be processed through service providers necessary for the operation of our website and business communications, including our website hosting and business email providers.
Where third-party service providers process personal information on our behalf, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate providers and safeguards.
5. How long we keep information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, legitimate business record-keeping, contractual requirements, dispute resolution, or applicable legal obligations.
Retention periods may differ depending on whether the information relates to an enquiry, quotation, customer relationship, training activity, support matter or other business record.
Information that is no longer reasonably required should be securely deleted or appropriately de-identified, subject to legal and operational requirements.
6. Security
H3iSquared takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
Website security measures include secure HTTPS communication, security monitoring, controlled administrative access, software maintenance and measures designed to reduce automated spam and malicious submissions.
No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information.
Information may be shared where reasonably necessary with:
- H3iSquared staff or authorised representatives
- Website hosting and technical service providers
- Business email and communication providers
- Professional advisers or service providers where required
- Regulatory, governmental or law-enforcement bodies where legally required
We limit disclosure to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
8. International processing
Some technology and communication providers used by H3iSquared may operate infrastructure outside South Africa.
Where personal information is processed or stored outside South Africa, H3iSquared will take reasonable steps to ensure that the processing is handled in accordance with applicable POPIA requirements and appropriate safeguards.
9. Your rights
Subject to POPIA and other applicable law, you may request that H3iSquared:
- Confirm whether we hold personal information about you
- Provide access to personal information we hold about you
- Correct or update inaccurate information
- Delete information where there is no lawful or legitimate reason to retain it
- Stop or object to certain processing where applicable
- Stop sending direct marketing communications

10. PAIA and access to information
H3iSquared maintains access-to-information procedures in accordance with the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (“PAIA”).
